Sudbury police looking for alleged sexual assailant

Greater Sudbury police are investigating two separate reports of sexual assault in the Valley East area over the weekend.

Two women report being sexually assaulted in separate incidents

Greater Sudbury police are investigating two separate reports of sexual assault in the Valley East area over the weekend.

It's alleged a young man rode up on a bicycle behind female pedestrians and assaulted them as he rode past.

The first incident happened Friday afternoon in the area of Jeanne D'Arc Street in Val Therese. The second happened on Sunday afternoon in Hanmer's Pharand Street area.

The suspect is described as a "young adult male of average height and build."

Police are asking the public to report any suspicious activity.
