Careless driving charges laid after road worker injured on Municipal Road 55

Police have laid charges against a woman after a road worker was injured on Municipal Road 55 Friday afternoon.

Man remains in stable condition after being airlifted to hospital Friday afternoon.

The Greater Sudbury Police Service has laid charges against a woman after a road worker was injured on Municipal Road 55 Friday afternoon.

The man was working as a flag person on the highway when he was hit by the woman's vehicle.

He was taken to Health Sciences North via air ambulance, where police saidhe remains in stable condition.

The woman has been charged with careless driving.
