"We like to joke that we finally moved out of our parents' basement," Straughan said."Now [that] we're out, we have our own place and we want to show everybody, 'Hey, we're grown up.'"

The student and community radio station relocated over the summer to accommodate Laurentian's renovations and found a willing host in the McEwen School of Architecture.

Straughan said the adjustments weren'toverlydifficult.

"It's nice and bright in here. We were in a pretty windowless, dark space when we were on the main campus, soa lot of people are liking that," Straughan said."But, just losing a bit of space we'll take the trade-off of being downtown and the great location."

The station is opening its doors to the public Mondayfrom 12:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The public is welcome to visitand see the new facilities.
