ASudburyhigh school is inviting the city to expand its community garden program on its property.

Lo-Ellen Park Secondary School has asked the city to consider putting a pilot project garden on itsgreen space that includes an outdoor rink when it's not in use.

Sudburys community development co-ordinator reports a decision on the pilot project will be made soon.

That would mean that we would start looking for potential funding or working on a plan to phase it in, in terms of when would be our start date, who's going to build the materials, [and] how we're partnering with the school, BarbMcDougall-Murdochsaid.

McDougall-Murdochadded the city needs to make sure there are enough people to maintain the gardens before they're set up.
