Pedestrian seriously injured in Sudbury car crash

A 49-year-old Sudbury woman is in hospital with what police are calling serious injuries after being struck by a car just after 8 p.m. Thursday night.

A 49-year-old Sudbury womanis in hospital with what police are calling serious injuries after being struck by a car just after 8 p.m. Thursday night.

The incident, which is still under police investigation, happened on Notre Dame at Wilma Street.

The southbound lane of Notre Dame has been closed from St. Charles Street to Wilma Street and drivers are asked to find alternate routes away from Notre Dame while police investigate this accident.
