Here are the 2022 provincial election results for northeastern Ontario

Ontarians went to the polls on June 2, 2022.

Ontario voters headed to the polls on Thursday to elect a new government.

Voting stations across the province closed at 9 p.m. Here are the results for northeastern Ontario ridings. The winner of each riding has their name bolded and underlined.

Algoma-Manitoulin:

  • Cheryl Fort (Progressive Conservative): 8,588 (35.4 per cent)
  • Ron Koski (New Blue Party of Ontario): 1,294 (5.3 per cent)
  • Maria Legault (Green Party): 760 (3.1 per cent)
  • Michael Mantha (NDP): 11,164 (46.0 per cent)
  • Tim Vine (Liberal): 2,116 (8.7 per cent)
  • Frederick Weening (Ontario Party): 355 (1.5 per cent)

Mushkegowuk-James Bay:

  • Guy Bourgouin (NDP): 3,418 (47.2 per cent)
  • Mike Buckley (New Blue Party of Ontario): 223 (3.1 per cent)
  • Eric Ct (Progressive Conservative): 2,594 (35.8 per cent)
  • Matthew Pronovost (Liberal): 849 (11.7 per cent)
  • Catherine Jones (Green Party): 141 (1.9 per cent)
  • Fauzia Sadiq(Ontario Provincial Confederation of Regions Party): 23 (0.3 per cent)

Nickel Belt:

  • Glenys Babcock (Green Party): 920 (3.0 per cent)
  • France Glinas (NDP): 15,609 (50.8 per cent)
  • Randy Hazlett (Progressive Conservative): 9,178 (29.9 per cent)
  • Gilles Proulx (Liberal): 3,042 (9.9 per cent)
  • Melanie Savoie (New Blue Party of Ontario): 1,519 (4.9 per cent)
  • Willy Schneider (Ontario Party): 470 (1.5 per cent)

Nipissing:

  • Vic Fedeli (Progressive Conservative): 15,392 (50.2 per cent)
  • Joe Jobin (Ontario Party): 616 (2.0 per cent)
  • Michelle Lashbrook(Ontario Libertarian Party): 315 (1.0 per cent)
  • Erika Lougheed (NDP): 8,665 (28.3 per cent)
  • Sean McClocklin (Green Party): 1,025 (3.3 per cent)
  • Taylor Russell (New Blue Party of Ontario): 399 (1.3 per cent)
  • Giacomo Vezina (None of the Above Party): 97 (0.3 per cent)
