Dead body found in Sudbury identified, no foul play suspected

Greater Sudbury Police say officials have identified a person found dead behind a south end shopping complex over the weekend but the man's name will not be released.

Greater Sudbury Police say officials have identified a person found dead behind a south end shopping complex over the weekend but, the man's name will not be released.

A body was found on Saturday evening behind the Dollarama store on Long Lake Road in what police described as a small body of water off the parking lot.

After a post-mortem examination on Monday, police said theidentity of the man was determinedlate last night, and he was "in his early-30s".

His family has been notified, and police saidhis name will not be released out of respect for that family.

Foul play is not suspected.

There is no word on the cause of the man's death, or when it happened.
