Third person dies after June 30 Wanapitei boat crash

Sudbury Police have confirmed a woman who was hospitalized after a boating collision on June 30 has died.

Stephanie Bertrand, 25,was one of four passengers in a boat on that was travellinglate at night on Lake Wanapitei, near the community of Skead in Greater Sudbury.

She died in hospital on Monday.

Two men also died in that collision:33-year-old Matthew Humeniuk and 34-year-old Michael Kritz.

A 28-year-old man was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Police said no further information about the incident is being released at this time.
