Sold out show for CBC Radio-Canada's 'The Tragically Hip A National Celebration' in Sudbury

The Tragically Hip wrap up their Man Machine Poem tour with a concert in Kingston, Ont., Saturday, Aug. 20 and CBC Sudbury and Radio-Canada will be live-streaming the event for 1500 people at the Grace Hartman Amphitheatre in Bell Park.

The Tragically Hip wrap up their Man Machine Poem tour with a concert in Kingston, Ont., Saturday, Aug. 20 and CBC Sudbury and Radio-Canada will be live-streaming the event for 1500 people at the Grace Hartman Amphitheatre in Bell Park.

Why is CBC-Radio Canada doing this?

Tickets have been scarce if not impossible to come by for this highly-anticipated and emotionally-charged concert tour. The Tragically Hip decided to broadcast their final concert of the tour on the CBC. Some of our community partners, includingNorthern Lights Festival Boreal, Sudbury Tourism and Downtown Sudbury, have pitched in with help on the logistics of setting up a free concert in Bell Park.
