Driver, injured pedestrian face charges after collision

A pedestrian and a motorist involved in a collision on a Thunder Bay street last month both face charges from city police.

A pedestrian and a motorist involved in a collision on a Thunder Bay street last monthbothface charges from city police.

Thunder Bay police reportthey have charged the motoristwith driving without a clear view in front of his vehicle.A police spokesperson would notexplainhow the man'sview was obstructed, butsaidthe information will come out in court in the new year.

The pedestrian, a 26-year-old man, was crossing Robertson Street at the time of the collision.Police reporthe violated a city bylaw, but they have not formally charged him yet. The man is stillin hospital with serious injuries as a result of the incident.
