Family of man missing in Thunder Bay calls for public help as search continues

The family of a man missing in Thunder Bay for nearly three weeks is asking for the public's help in finding him.

The family of a man missing in Thunder Bay for nearly three weeks is asking for the public's help in finding him.

Richard Graham, 42, was last seen on July 30 at a business in the 500 block of north Cumberland Street, just before he got on a city bus heading south.

At a media conference held Monday, police said there have been no confirmed sightings of Graham since then, nor has he contacted any members of his family; police said there's concern for Graham's well-being.

Dwayne Poster, Graham's father, said his family has been out searching for Graham.

"Our family has been very concentrated on locating him," Poster said. "We've gone into areas of the city searching for him."

"People out in the general public have probably seen us out and about, placingposters on on poles and talking to people in the public, asking them for any information regarding Richard."

"If they've seen him or if they have any kind of video footage,please contact the number on the posters and get ahold of the police."

Graham is described as being five feet, six inches tall, with a slim build,medium-length red hair, a red beard, and hazel eyes.

When last seen, he waswearing a camouflage short-sleeve shirt, a camouflage ballcap, and black pants with a subtle camouflage pattern. He was carrying a large black backpack.

"Contact us, let us know that you're OK anyway," Poster said when asked if he had a message for Graham. "Even if you don't have a phone, justleave a mark somewhere."

"We're looking everywhere for him, and we've been everywhere in this city. There's not too many places we haven't been."

Police are asking residents throughout Thunder Bay to check their properties, and footage from any surveillance cameras, for signs of Graham.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
