OPP identify man killed in Ignace collision

The OPP have released the identity of the Thunder Bay man killed in a highway accident near Ignace on Sunday.

Victim's 2-year-old daughter being treated in Winnipeg hospital

The OPP have released the identity of the Thunder Bay man killed in ahighway accident near Ignaceon Sunday.

He was 32-year-old Blake Cheslock.

The mans two-year-old daughter was taken to a Winnipeg hospital and being treated for her injuries.

Police say Cheslock was driving eastbound in a car that collided with a pickup truck on Highway 17.

OPP say the westbound pickup crossed into the eastbound lane.

The 69year-old driver of the pickup and a 17-year-old passenger both from Hawkestone, Ont., were transported to Dryden hospital.

Police continue to investigate the accident.
