Police investigate fatal Pikangikum First Nation house fire

Pikangikum First Nation police, the OPP and the Ontario Fire Marshal's office are probing further into a fatal house fire in the community.

The fire happened just after 3:30 a.m. Sunday at a home on Lagoon Road in the First Nation's territory.

The body of one person was found inside the residence.

Members of the Pikangikum Police Service located the victim after they extinguished the fire.
