Thunder Bay lawyer Sandy Zaitzeff remains in custody, awaiting bail hearing on sex assault charges

A prominent Thunder Bay, Ont., lawyer will remain in custody until Tuesday, awaiting a bail hearing on assault and sexual assault charges.

Alexander (Sandy) Zaitzeff was scheduled for a bail hearing on Friday.

At the request of his defence counsel, that hearing has been delayed until Tuesday.

Zaitzeffhas been charged with a number of offences, including five counts of assault, two counts of sexual assault and one count each of mischief, invitation to sexual touching, sexual interference and breach of recognizance.
