Thunder Bay police and officials with the Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board have given the all-clear at St. Patrick High School and say it will reopen for classes Friday morning.

Students were sent home Thursday and classes were cancelled after a threat came in earlier in the day. They can come back to pick up their belongings between 3:30-4:30 p.m., though any community events planned there for this evening remain cancelled.

This is the second time St. Patrick High School has had to close due to a threat in the past two weeks, andcomes amid a series of threats directed at Catholic schools in Thunder Bay and northwestern Ontario over the past month.

None of the previous incidents resulted in anyone being harmed.
