Woman charged after using knife in domestic incident, police say

A 24-year-old woman is in custody on charges of assault with a weapon after what police are calling a domestic incident in a laneway on Thunder Bay's north side.

Thunder Bay police charge 24-year-old woman Saturday after early morning assault

A woman is in custody and faces a charge of assault with a weapon after a domestic dispute in alaneway on Thunder Bay's north side, according to police.

Thunder Bay police saidthe incident happened around 2:20 a.m. Saturday, in the 200 block of Red River Road.

Police saida man, 20,was taken to hospital for what were believed to benon-lifethreatening injuries, and was later released.

They added the woman, 24, used a knife in the assault.
