Man charged with 2nd-degree murder in shooting of brother

A 25-year-old man has been charged with second-degree murder in theshooting of his brother in Torontos east end Saturday night, police said. The shooting happened near Kingston Road and Markham Road in Scarborough.

A 25-year-old man has been charged with second-degree murder in theshooting of his brother in Toronto's east end Saturday night, police said.

Police say they responded to reports of a person shot just after 11 p.m.on Saturday near Kingston Road and Markham Road in Scarborough.

In a news release Sunday morning, police said the menwere arguing before one shot the other.The victim was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Policeidentified the victim as Christopher Malcolm, 27, of Toronto.

The accused, Carlton Malcolm, 25, also of Toronto, has been arrested, police said in a news release Sunday afternoon. He is scheduled to appear in court on Monday morning.
