What's going on for the first day of #TIFF2014!

1. THE BIG PREMIERE: The Judge starring Robert Downey Jr. and Robert Duvall holds its gala night. See what it took to secure the world premiere by clicking here.

2. STARS TO EXPECT: A-listers expected to walk the red carpets tonight include Al Pacino at the Elgin Theatre for The Humbling, Robert Downey Jr., Robert Duvall, Vera Farmiga and Billy Bob Thornton at Roy Thomson Hall for The Judge.

3. STREET FESTIVAL: For the first time ever, the festival is closing down King Street from University Avenue to Peter Street. Restaurant Row turns into Festival Street, too, which means dozens of patios will spill out onto the street for four days.
