CBC Toronto meteorologist Jay Scotland captured the mood with this tweet, using the #NotFunnyhashtag. It seems no one is happy about breaking out old snow brush.

But while the snowfall totals may have been impressive for April, people were far from impressed to see the ground coated in snow this morning.

CBC Toronto overnight reporter Tony Smyth was out on the roads early, capturing images we're more accustomed to seeing December to February.

During the height of the storm early Monday, a TTC bus headed to Pearson airporton Highway 427 smashed into a guard rail, causing minor injuries to five people.

The snow was no joke on the roads. City crews dispatched plows and salt trucks but streets were still slippery this morning.
