The youngest member of the Toronto Zoo's roster of adorable baby animals a three-week-oldrhinoceros had his grand public debut this morning.

The three-week-old calf waddledaround excitedly alongside his mother Asha in thematernity exhibit inside the Indian Rhino Habitat at the Toronto Zoo.

The three-week-old rhino calf at the Toronto Zoo seems unimpressed with the cameras during his first public appearance.

The Indian rhinoceros livesin a few parts of Nepal and India and is considered a vulnerable species due to habitat degradation and poaching.

The zoo has said there are only about 2,000 of these animals left in the wild.

The calf is the first one born at the zoo in 16 years.

He will be on display at the zoo March 12-20 between 9:30-11:30 a.m. and 2-4 p.m.
