Brampton boxing club owner charged after youths allegedly sexually assaulted

The 68-year-old owner of a Brampton boxing gym faces 52 criminal charges stemming from historic sexual assault allegations, Peel Regional Police announced Thursday. Police are appealing for anyone with information to com forward.

The 68-year-old owner of a Brampton boxing gym faces 52 criminal charges stemming from historic sexual assault allegations, Peel Regional Police announced Thursday.

Ajaz Khan,president and owner of King of the Ring, was arrested in Wasaga Beach, Ont., where police say he is from, following theexecution of a search warrant on March 27.

During the 20 years Khan's Brampton boxing club has been open, police say "it is alleged that hecommitted numerous sexual assaults on multiple youth victims."

Khan's chargesincludechild pornography, sexual interference, sexual assaultand corrupting a minor, police said.

Peel policebelievethere may be more victims and areasking victims to come forward.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Special Victims Unit, or submit information anonymously via Crime Stoppers.
