Canadian Tire recalls some Christmas lights for safety reasons

Canadian Tire is recalling aline of indoor and outdoor Christmas light stringsdue to safety concerns.

The "Holiday Collection" brandproducts aremanufactured by TaizhouHongpeng Colour Lanterns.

In a news release, Canadian Tire said these lights "may pose a fire and shock hazard."

They include productsmanufactured after Spring of 2015 and sold between August1 and November 30.

Affected customers are advised to stop using these products immediately and return them to any Canadian Tire store to get a refund.
