3 cyclists struck in 4 hours on Toronto streets Sunday, police say

Three cyclists were struck in Toronto in the space of four hours on Sunday, police said.

Three cyclists were struck in Toronto in the space of four hours on Sunday, one of whom was transported to a trauma centre,police said.

Toronto Police told CBC News they were called at12:52p.m. and informed thata male cyclist had been struck near Don Mills Road and Sheppard Avenue East. The man was taken to a trauma centre but the extent of his injuries are not known, they said.

At around 11:30 a.m., police said a cyclist was struck near Leslie Street and Queen Street East. The man suffered a leg injury and the driver drove away, police tweeted.

And around 10:30 a.m., police tweeted that a cyclist had been hit in the Victoria Park Avenue and Sheppard Avenue East area. His injuries were not serious.
