Drake received a key to the city the city's highest honourat the kick-off to NBA All-Star weekend festivities Friday night.

"This is one of the biggest moments of my life, if not the biggest moment of my life," Drake said after receiving the key at Ricoh Coliseum,where the6Godis leading the Canadian squad at the celebrity game.

"I just want to say thankyou to a city that is unconditionally supportive,unconditionally loving."

"Iwill never stop loving this city. Iwill never stop representing this city."

Tory praised the 29-year-old for inspiring people.

"You promote the city. You are devoted to the city. You love the city," he said.

"This is non-transferrable, not even to Lil Wayne," Tory quipped,referring to a lyric in Drake'sSummer Sixteensingle released in late Januaryand rapper Lil Wayne.

Tory announcedThursdaythat Drake would receive the honour.

Drake is expected to release his new albumViews from the 6in April. Dozens of billboards are scattered across the city touting its eventual release.
