Toronto hip-hop demigod Drake revealed Saturday that his new album,Views from the 6, is dropping in April.

The release date is in step with the theme of the album 4/16 is a nod to the city's area code.

The rapper made the announcement on his online OVO Sound Radio show, which streams on Apple Music. He said an exact date is still to come, but that he's "working overtime" to finish the album.

Drake also played his new trackSummer Sixteenseveral times during the show.

The song includes some pretty memorable verses, includinga humblebrag about the enormouspool at his Calabasas, Calif., home andan allusion to his high profile beef with fellow MC Meek Mill (Drake said during the show the new LP would have a "eulogy" for Meek on it).

Drake even takesa jab at U.S. President Barack Obama, who once told a reporter he thought Kendrick Lamar would beat Drizzy in a rap battle.

As expected, Twitter blew up with the news and there was, of course, some golden responses to some of the most notable verses ofSummer Sixteen. Here's a few of the best:

'Tell Obama that my verses are just like the whips that he in, they bulletproof.'

'I used to wanna be on Roc-A-Fella then I turned into Jay /Now I got a house in L.A. / Now I got a bigger pool than Ye / And look man, Ye's pool is nice / Mine's just big is what I'm saying.'

Summer Sixteen is currently available on iTunes and Apple Music.
