In his new music video, Toronto-born rapper Drake gives a nod to the city's former mayor Rob Ford in his most internationally notorious moment.

The photo is a play on the real-life photo Ford took with Anthony Smith, Monir Kassim and Muhammad Khattak outside 15 Windsor Rd.in Etobicoke, where an infamous video showing Ford smoking crack is said to have been shot.

The video shows Drake as Ford, in a white shirt and striped tie, posing for a similar photo. There are a few discrepancies, as Ford was in a sweatshirt in the original but wearing a dress shirt and dresspantsin the video. Drake also retains his short beard, though he does have short, blonde, Ford-like hair.

Is the resemblance uncanny? (Drake/Apple Music)

The rapper also makes references to Miley Cyrus'sWrecking Ball, Justin Bieber's Calvin Klein ad, andO.J. Simpson's white Ford Bronco.

The music video is available exclusively on Apple Music.
