Homicide unit investigating after woman found dead in residence: Toronto police

Toronto police says its homicide unit is investigating after a woman was found dead in a residence in the northwest end of the city on Tuesday.

Toronto police says its homicide unit is investigating after a woman was found dead in a residence in the northwest end of the city on Tuesday.

Officers responded to a call near Keele Street and Dundas Street W.around 2:00 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, according to a news release issued Wednesday.

The woman was found dead with unspecified trauma to her body, police say. Police believe she was in her 60s but are working to identify her.

No arrests have been made, and police say there is no suspect information.
