3 arrested after fatal stabbing inside Scarborough highrise, police say

Three people were arrested after a fatalstabbing inside a Scarborough highrise early Thursday, Toronto police say.

Three people were arrested after a fatalstabbing inside a Scarborough highrise early Thursday, Toronto police say.

Officers responded to the building on Lawrence Avenue E., near Kingston Road, at 6:10 a.m. and quickly found a man with stab wounds.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Another man and two women were taken into custody, according to DutyInsp. Todd Jocko, who spoke to reporters outside the building.

Jockosaid all four were known to each other, and there is no further threat to public safety. He could not say what charges may be laid in connection with the stabbing.

Jocko did not have any further information about the deceased.

Anyone with information relevant to the deadly stabbing is asked to contact police or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers.
