John Tory's Christmas greeting highlights Toronto's diversity

Mayor John Tory has released an official holiday greeting, wishing Torontonians a merry Christmas and urging residents to embrace the city's diversity.

"How blessed are we to live in a city like Toronto?" the mayor said in the video released on Twitter today.

"It really is the way we live together as people that defines the Toronto the world is watching."

Tory also re-iterated some of his plans in the video, in particular his desire to build more affordable housing and transit as well asthe need to make sure more Torontonians can find work.
