Shoppers camp 14 hours overnight for Kanye West's Toronto pop-up shop

Toronto is the only Canadian city that has Kanye West's pop-up shop, and shoppers lined up overnight to snag some merchandise.

If you see long lineups on Ossington Avenue this weekend , you can chalk it up to two words: KanyeWest.

Shoppershave been camping out since late Thursday nighttosnatch some merchandise fromthesuperstar rapper's pop-up shop in Torontothe only one in Canada.

Abdul Alharbifinally got in afterwaitingin line since midnight..

"These are really dope man, yeah," said Alharbi, proudlyholding a bag full oft-shirtsand abomberjacket,inspired byPablo,West's new album.

Toronto is the only Canadian city to have one ofWest'spop-up stores. There are 21 of themthroughout the world.

The temporarystore opened up Friday on 12OssingtonAve.and will only be around until Sunday. It will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. throughout the weekend.

Some West fans were excited to share some of their favourite tunes from the new album.

"This is a goddream, this is a goddream," sang AaranBahtia, belting out thelyrics from West's song Ultralight.

Edden Yavelbergarrived Friday morninghopingto grab a couple of sweaters and a shirt forWest's upcoming pair of concerts at the Air Canada Centrescheduled for August 30 and 31.

"There's a huge line, probably around a five hour wait, so I don't think we're going todo it," he said, shaking his head. "We should have come earlier. We didn't know it would be so hyped up."

Some others were more dedicated and did some serious camping for the merchandise.

"Fourteen hours," a group of four friends shouted in unison when asked how long they'dbeen lining up.

"I'm going to go home and sleep," said Seyon Sriharen.

Thirteenof the 21 stores will be in major cities in the U.S., and other shops are in Amsterdam, Berlin, Cape Town, London, Melbourne, Singapore and Sydney.
