Victim in fatal weekend shooting identified as Ryerson University student Olivier Dundas

Toronto police have charged two more suspectsin connection with a fatal shooting in downtown Toronto on Saturday.

A22-year-old man and a 23-year-old man have been charged with second-degree murder, Toronto police said in a news release Monday evening.

On Sunday, a 22-year-old man was alsoarrested and charged with second-degree murderin connection with the shooting.

Police have identified the victim as 20-year-old Olivier Dundas.

In a statement and tweet on Monday, Ryerson University said Dundas was a journalismstudent at the school.

"On behalf of Ryerson University, we extend our deepest sympathies to the student's family, friends and loved ones," the university said in the statement.

The university's school of journalism said it was "shocked and saddened" by his death.

Dundas was shot near Bloor Street East and Church Street. Officers were called to the scene shortly before 11 p.m. on Saturday.

When officers arrived, they found Dundas and tried to save his life.Toronto paramedics rushed himwithout any vital signs to hospital,where he was pronounced dead.

Counselling available to Ryerson students, employees

The university said the death of a student can be "difficult and upsetting for our community" and counselling isavailable to students and employees at the university who may need it.

Students can find out about services available to them at the Ryerson Centre for Student Development and Counselling.

As well, the university saidKeep.meSAFEis a mental health counselling service that specializes in student mental health support and provides 24/7 access to licensed counsellors through telephone and mobile chat. Mental health care can be provided in over 60 languages and students can also access the service from outside of Canada, the university said.

Employees who need counselling can accessthe employee and family assistance program for resources and counselling.

Dundas' death marks the city's sixthhomicide of the year.
