Opposition Leader Patrick Brown is seeking the prime minister'shelp in opposing the cap-and-trade program being brought in by theprovincial Liberal government.

In an open letter to Justin Trudeau, the PC leader says hehasconcerns that the cap-and-trade plan endorsed by Premier KathleenWynne's government "does not have Ontario's best interests atheart."

Brown says his party supports putting a revenue-neutral price oncarbon to protect the environment without harming the economy, andnotes Trudeau recently announced a similar policy.

He says he wants Trudeau to remove cap-and-trade as an eligiblecarbon pricing system for Ontario.
