Toronto police have arrested three people, including a teenage girl, following a string of robberies that saw female escorts attacked in their hotel rooms by people posing as clients.

The arrests announced Wednesday come a day after police said two escorts a 22-year-old and a 29-year-old were targeted in separate incidents occurring hours apart.

The most recent attack took place on Tuesday at a west-end Quality Suites atCarlingview Driveand Dixon Road.

Police allege one of the two victims was sexually assaulted by multiple men. The otherwas held against her will by the suspects, police said.

"She was abducted or forcibly confined and taken with them because she did not have any money with her at that time," said Staff Insp. Mike Earl said of the latter victim. "They pressured her to contact her boyfriend to bring money."

Investigators allege that in incidents dating back to Oct. 25 a total of five women opened their hotel room doors four in the west-end, one in the east expecting a client only to be rushed by multiple suspects.

Police say the rooms were ransacked and the women assaulted, with their personal belongings, cash and other items taken.

Two men, aged 20 and 22, along with a 17-year-old girl are charged with robbery and related offences, while three others are sought by police.
