The eyewitness who says he saw police shoot and kill Michael Eligon last February testified at an inquest today into the 29-year-old man's death.
Barrie White told CBC's Stephanie Matteis that Eligon was "walking zombie-like towards a line of police," but that he didn't seem threatening at the time. Eligon was shot while holding a pair of scissors. He was one of among three mentally ill people shot dead and now at the centre of a police inquest.
