Police release images of persons of interest in Etobicoke deaths

Toronto police have released a series of five photographs of "persons of interest" in the slaying of two teenagers in Etobicoke this week.

Toronto police have released a series of five photographs of "persons of interest" in the slaying of two teenagers in Etobicoke this week.

Don Bosco Catholic Secondary School student Zaid Youssef, 17, andJames Cardinal McGuigan Catholic High School student Michael Menjivar, 15, were both high school students at the time they were shot and killed on Monday.

Witnesses reported seeing as many as 40 people surrounding the shootings. Police have released photos of several persons of interest and are seeking the public's assistance in identifying them.

Police removed four of the images Tuesday evening after identifying the individuals portrayed in them as young persons.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or the persons of interest themselves to contact Det.-Sgt. Peter Trimble at 416-808-7400 extension 77394.
