A rainfall warning for Toronto has ended after Environment Canada called fortorrential downpours Monday evening.

The weather agency had said 30 to 50 millimetres could fall within a couple of hours.

Showers were still possible through the evening, with a risk of a thunderstorm.

The low was expected to be 16 C overnight.
