Razor blades found at second downtown Toronto park

Toronto Police are warning downtown residents to be cautious after razor blades have been found at two parks.

On Monday evening, officers were called to June Callwood Park, near Lakeshore Boulevard and Bathurst Street.

A woman who had been walking her dog in the park called police to report several loose razor blades scattered in the park.

The razor blades were mixed in with gravel and the woman reported finding them multiple times over the past week, according to a Toronto Police media release.

Following that release, police were contacted by another resident who found more razor blades scatteredin Lisgar Park, near Queen Street and Dufferin Street, earlieron Monday.

Police say the razor blades found at both parks are similar in style.No injuries have been reported.

Neither park has a children's playground, according to police, but both are popular with dog walkers.
