Homicide detectives investigating suspicious death at Scarborough apartment

Homicide detectives on Friday evening wereinvestigating a suspicious death in the Sheppard Avenue East and Warden Avenue area.

Toronto police and paramedics were called to an apartment shortly after 1 p.m. Friday and found a woman without vital signs, according to Toronto EMS.

Police are treating the death as suspicious.

They arecanvassing the area and were seen combing through a dumpster in the area.
