3 siblings, all under 20 years old, killed in fiery Brampton car crash

Three siblings, all under the age of 20,were killed in a fiery car crash in Brampton on the weekend, Peel police said Monday.

Two friends of the family haveconfirmed the victims' identities toCBC Toronto. They are 19-year-oldTirzah,17-year-old Judahand 15-year-old PharaohBlackman-Lall.

A fundraiser set upfor their family has garnered $12,000 since it was created Mondaymorning.

The teensdied after the Honda Civic they were travelling in hit a tree and caught fire near the corner of Conestoga Drive and Elmvale Avenue around 2 a.m. Saturday.

The vehicle quickly became"engulfed in flames," according to police.

All three were pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have not released any further information about the siblings.

'An amazing young man'

Tarek Sabry, the coach andexecutive director of theInternational Soccer Club, wherePharaohBlackman-Lall played. He described the boy as a kind, polite and disciplined kid who waslots of fun and very sarcastic.

"It was a very difficult weekend for all of us," said Sabry. He says the club put together their own fundraiser for his family, and have suspended all soccer activities for the rest of the week.

"Such an amazing young man, it's a great loss."

Doug Gilson, who lives near the scene of the crash, says he heardthumping sounds quickly followed by sirensearly Saturday morning.By the time he got outside, he says he saw firefighterstending to a vehicle completely engulfedin flames.

"They got here really quick," said Wilson

"They put as much water on there as they could, andit didn't do any good."

The police investigation is ongoing and there's no word on why the crash happened.

But Gilson says it can be hard for drivers to knowwhat the speed limit is in his neighbourhood, and there is a lot ofspeeding in the area.

"This is a 50-kilometre area. But sad part is, there's only one sign to tell you that and it's facing northbound, and it's down near the stoplight," said Gilson.

"There isn't one for the way thatcar was going."
