The cronut burger, Nutella fries, gelato sandwiches and other strange food selections make their way to the Ex.

A cronut burger a hamburgerwith acroissant-donut mix for a bun, topped with a maplebacon-jam is one of manyFrankenstein-like selections on the menuat this year's Canadian National Exhibition.
The annual festival often makes headlines for its outrageous food offerings, which have in the past includeddeep-fried butter,a cheeseburger with a donut bun surrounding itandBLT sandwiches that also had Nutella spread and back-bacon.
Outside of these offerings, the CNE will have dozens of on-site vendors offering more traditional foods and snacks.
The CNE runs from August 16 to September 2. It typically drawsmore than1 million visitors each year.
