There's still no sign of Poochie the poodle, a pet who was snatched from the outside of a Parkdale roti shop while his owner was paying for some takeout.

Poochie went missing just over a week ago, leaving owners Ross Logan and Jean Merrick devastated.

Ross Logan said his dog, Poochie, a 14-month-old miniature poodle, was stolen outside of a Toronto roti shop on Saturday night. (helpinglostpets.com)

Logan told CBC News that the couple has had "no news whatsoever" on the whereabouts of Poochie.

On Sunday, they were still putting up posters about the incident. The couple has also created a Facebook page in a bid to help them find their missing dog.

Crime Stoppers has made a video about Poochie's case, which includes a black-and-white re-enactment of the crime. The video can be viewed at the bottom of this page.

The couple has noted on their "Find Poochie" page that while the video says their poodle has chocolate brown fur, he actually has black fur. (Some photos they have released of Poochie make him appear brown, due to filters being used on Instagram.)

The Crime Stoppers video indicates that detectives from 14 Division are asking those with information to contact them at 416-808-1400.

Information can also be passed on anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
