Toronto Pride parade draws revellers from around the world

One of the biggest parties of the year took over city streets today, bringing a month full of events celebrating Canada's LGBT community to an end.

The annual Pride parade is one of Toronto's biggest celebrations, drawing tens of thousands of revellers into the city to fte the LGBTcommunity.

About 150 different organizations, businesses and groups participated in the hours-long parade this afternoon.

This is the first year that Toronto police did not be walk in uniform since thetradition began in 2000.

The Prime Minister and his wife, along with the national chief of the Assembly of First Nations, led the procession.
