Tour the new subway stations on TTC's Line 1 extension

Six new TTC subway stations spanning 8.6 km north into York Regionopened on Sunday, and to mark the day, all trips across the TTCnetwork are free.

The $3.2-billion expansion of Line 1 is among the more ambitious public transit undertakings in North America in recent decades, according to the province and city, who held joint news conferences on both Saturday and Sunday to tout the unveiling.
