1 man arrested, 4 taken to hospital after early-morning collision

Four people are in hospital and one man has been arrested for impaired driving following a collision in east Windsor early Tuesday morning.

Four people are in hospital and one man is accused ofimpaired driving following a collision in east Windsor early Tuesday morning.

Shortly before 1:30 a.m., a pickup truck collided with a sedan at the intersection of Lauzon Road and Lauzon Line. The collision caused the pickup truck to overturn.

The driver of the sedan, as well as the driver of the pickup truck and both of its passengers, were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The 40-year-old driver of the pickup was arrested at the hospital for allegedly driving while impaired. He's accused of driving while being impaired by a drug.

Police are asking anyone who witnessed the crash or who may have information about the incident to contact Windsor Police or Crime Stoppers.
