There's about a 40-per-cent chance Windsor will experience "above normal" temperatures this winter, according to Environment Canada.

The weather agency released its three-month forecast Monday, the beginning of the meteorological winter.

The overall trend points to warmer-than-normal temperatures for most of Canada this winter.

When it comes to precipitation, Environment Canada says there's a 30- to 40-per-cent chance of an "above normal" amount this winter in Windsor.
