Bike to Work Day is back in Windsor on May 29

Bike to Work Day is less than threeweeks away.

The annual event will take place in Windsor on the morning of May 29.

Anyone on two wheels who wants to take part should be at GoodLifeFitness at Devonshire Mall by 6:45a.m. that day, and the group will depart at 7 a.m. sharp.

From there, the cyclists willtake the Grand Marais Drain Trail through streets in South Walkervilleand the Riverfront Trail on the way the CBC at Riverside and Crawford, with a scheduled arrival time of8 a.m.

Breakfast will be served and the Windsor Bicycling Committee will announceitsCommuter of the Year award winner.

After their ride along the Detroit River last year, about 100 cyclists came to CBC Windsor for coffee, fruit and bagels.
