FCA reports varying June sales for brands, Chrysler Pacifica breaks June record

FCA Canada released its June 2018 sale numbers, with four out of six brands experiencing declines in their year-to-date sales.

FCA Canada reports falling year-to-date sales for four out of six brands with the Fiat brand suffering the most with a 80 per cent decline, only selling 368 vehicles compared to last year's 1,859.

Decreases were also seen in the Chrysler, Dodge and Ram brands, all with double-digit decreases in their year-to-date sales.

Even though FCA Canada sold the most Rams out of all their cars, the brand is actually still reporting a decrease in both its June and year-to-date sales, at 21 per cent and 16 per cent, respectively.

On the other hand, the Alfa brand is enjoying a lot of growth with a 298 per cent increase in its year-to-date sales and 185 per cent increase when you compare June 2018 with June 2017.

Jeeps are continuing to sell well, with a 6 per cent increase in June sales compared to last June.

Chrysler Pacifica also broke a record in its June sales, selling 713 vehicles compared to last year's 531 in the same month.

The best selling FCA Canada brand in June 2018 was the Ram brand with 9,477 sales, but compared to last June, the sales actually went down by 21 per cent.

In total, FCA reports 22,479 vehicles were sold in June this year. Last June FCA sold 26,926 vehicles.
