LaSalle cop guilty of discreditable conduct after DUI

A LaSalle police officer has pleaded guilty to a count of discreditable conduct under the Police Services Act after being convicted of impaired driving in June 2016, the LaSalle Police Service said in a statement.

A LaSalle police officer has pleaded guilty to a count of discreditable conduct under the Police Services Act after being convicted of impaired driving in June 2016, the LaSalle Police Service said in a statement.

Retired OPP Supt. Morris Elbers, the hearing officer appointed by the service, found Foreman guilty.

The decision was made Aug. 29. LaSalle police issued the news release Thursday.

Foreman has returned to duty and has been placed on administrative restrictions, according to the police.
