Partnership to test autonomous vehicles in Windsor-Detroit tunnel

Windsor and Detroit are teaming up to test autonomous vehicles at border crossings.

Mayor Drew Dilkens said the initiative is still in the planning stage, but the city has asked the provincial government for financial support.

The neighbouring cities hope to study what technology is needed to allow self-driving cars to use the Windsor-Detroit tunnel.
