Windsor residents, and this little bunny, were out of sorts with the winter's first major snowfall Sunday.

While many people in Windsor enjoyed the snowfall Sunday, there were plenty of residents who expressed their frustrations with unclear roadways.

Environment Canada reporteda single-day snowfall record at the Windsor International Airport with 29 cm hitting the region.

Some residents questioned the City of Windsor's ability to clear streets of the heavy snow that hit the region throughout the day Sunday.

City officials said they had plows out all day Sunday clearing the main roadways.

Windsor police reported a few fender benders, but otherwise drivers handled the snow without any major accidents Sunday.

But there were a few accidents to report on some of southwestern Ontario highways.

School buses were cancelled throughout Essex County and much of southwestern Ontario, including Sarnia-Lambton and Chatham-Kent.

Windsor residents were a little frustrated they missed out on the snow day. All buses within the city were running Monday morning.
